LTC Strategies supported Newman’s Own in strengthening its grantee fundraising capacity-ensuring their investment in partner programming was met with the opportunity to build organizational sustainability.
The Challenge
Newman’s Own Foundation invests in communities across the country to support kids facing adverse situations. Whether investing in indigenous communities or supporting food education in schools, Newman’s Own Foundation was seeking to ensure that their investment in local programs was helping to build a sustainable future. However, the size and scope of the organizations they supported meant varying degrees of ability to secure the proper resources to be successful.
Insights
LTC Strategies developed a customized fundraising training program for Newman’s Own Foundation grantee partners that supported fundraising capacity at the local level. Through a short series of interactive trainings combined with individual office hours, LTC Strategies worked across the grantee network to support the goals of the Foundation.
The Outcome
Newman’s Own Foundation grantee partners rated the training program as a highly valuable and meaningful addition to their fundraising capacity building efforts. Additionally, the office hours “sold out” immediately and were even used as an incentive for participation in other events and activities.
