About the Project
We partnered with Heifer International to help clarify strategy and storytelling for Farming for Our Future, aligning a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative around a clear vision, shared priorities, and measurable impact.
The Challenge
As an 80-year-old brand, Heifer International needed to reposition their work to better articulate their impact to the public. As an organization that focuses on supporting farmers who are not only strengthening their communities economically but also supporting climate friendly agriculture practices, the organization had a complex proposition to communicate.
Insights
LTC Strategies worked alongside Heifer to develop a framework for strategic investing that categorized their work into four clean strategic pillars of investment. In addition, the LTC Strategies creative team developed a messaging platform “Farming for Our Future” for Heifer to use in external communications as an articulation of their brands’ impact.
The Outcome
As an outcome of this work, Heifer finds themselves with more opportunity to diversify revenue and attract the public to the mission. Farming for Our Future is helping Heifer secure new grant funding as well as attract retailers and manufacturer partners who want to be associated with supporting smart agriculture.
